With autumn well & truly in full swing, the beautiful autumn colours in and around Tenterfield are really starting to come out.
Although it’s been a slow start to autumn, typically, the best time to see the trees in blazes of red, yellow and orange, is the two weeks either side of ANZAC Day (April 25), and this year won’t disappoint.
Currently, the best places to see the Autumn Leaves are:
- Molesworth Street (western side) towards the Mount Mackenzie Scenic Drive
- Millbrook Park (corner of Naas Street and New England Highway)
- Logan Street
- Bruxner Highway (Eastern side of town)
- Mount Lindesay Road – there’s some goregous pops of yellow and red on the way to Bald Rock & Boonoo Boonoo National Parks
We’re also seeing gorgeous autumn days and cool nights, which is the perfect excuse to light the wood fire and enjoy a glass of local red.
Don’t miss out – book your Autumn escape in Tenterfield before the colour disappears.
