Gunimaa Nursery

Gunimaa means ‘Mother Earth’ and every plant for sale in this local indigenous plant nursery is edible or medicinal. Plants are available to purchase as tubestock.

Some species for sale include: 

  • Strawberry Gum
  • Lemon Myrtle
  • Kangaroo Apple
  • Pigface
  • Native Turnip
  • Native River Mint
  • Native Ginger

OPENING HOURS

10am – 3pm Wednesdays

9am – 12pm on the 1st Saturday of each month

The nursery is located on the corner of Railway Avenue & Railway Street, Tenterfield.

Gunimaa Nursery is a Moombahlene Local Aboriginal Land Council initiative.

The Tenterfield Visitor Information Centre has reopened following closures due to COVID-19 restrictions. The centre will be operating via a window service for the time being, and is staffed Monday to Saturday. Phone calls will be answered on Sunday.
