Motorcyling the New England High Country

Tenterfield is an easy 3.5 hour drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast and has good road access via the New England Highway to the north and the south, and the Bruxner Highway to the east.

Northern Rivers Bus Lines

Northern Rivers Buslines runs services to Tenterfield from Lismore and Kyogle to Tenterfield every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The service departs Lismore and operates via Coraki Road, McKees Hill (Bruxner Highway), Tomki, Casino, Mummulgum, Mallanganee, Tabulam, Drake and Tenterfield. The service to/from Kyogle connects in Casino.

NSW TrainLink

NSW TrainLink offers a train service from Sydney to Armidale, and then a bus from Armidale to Tenterfield. The NSW TrainLink service departs the Tenterfield Coach Stop (Manners Street) at 5.30 am daily, and arrives in Sydney at 4:40 pm.
